DOOR SERIES: NEW PRINT RELEASE
The Door Series, is a body of work I've been exploring since 2008. The door, both a literal and metaphorical structure, symbolizes resilience, transition, and self-determination. In a world governed by gatekeepers and shifting resources, I have come to trust one unshakable truth: there is no single way forward. Doors of Opportunity ARE real and they DO exist. We just need to learn how to see them.

Central to my practice is the belief that opportunity is ever-present, waiting to be perceived, seized, and transformed. Perception becomes a tool of liberation, shaping how we respond to a landscape that may appear barren but brims with hidden potential. The so-called "dead ends" are nothing more than invitations to find or forge another path. Doors of opportunity are everywhere—we must only train ourselves to recognize and walk through them.
This ethos forms the foundation of The Door Series, a body of work I've been exploring since 2008. The door, both a literal and metaphorical structure, symbolizes resilience, transition, and self-determination. In a world governed by gatekeepers and shifting resources, I have come to trust one unshakable truth: there is no single way forward.
As windows and doors open and close, we are called to evolve, adapt, and build anew. The old paradigms may no longer serve us, but that only presents fresh possibilities. In this ever-changing landscape, I find relief and joy in creating my own way forward—often by imagining, crafting, and even constructing my own door.
This work is an offering to those who stand at the threshold of uncertainty: blaze your trail, embrace the unknown, and when necessary, carry your own door with you.
